Constraining two curves in G2 continuity

The following steps give a quick introduction to the Equal Curvature constraint:

  1. Create two splines in the profile environment.
  2. Start the Equal Curvature command and select the Fix at Parameter option from the selection list.
  3. Select the first spline. In the Fix at Parameter mini-dialog box, enter the value as 1. The goal is to have an equal curvature at the parameter 1 of the first spline and parameter 0 of the second spline.
  4. Select the second spline. In the Fix at Parameter mini-dialog box, enter the value as 0.
  5. Press the Enter key to apply your changes.
  6. The two splines are now constrained to have the same curvature at their specified parameters.
  7. Repeat the steps 2 to 5 with the Tangency constraint command.
  8. The two curves are now constrained at the at their respective parameter positions with both Tangency and Equal Curvature constraints; or they are in in G2 continuity at that point.
