Under Dimension you have various categories that will enable you to create a dimension with all the necessary attributes. Similarly, under Text you have categories that will enable you to define your own text styles.
The Current style choice drop-down list in the dialog box enables you to set the current style by selecting a style from the list of all the available ones.
The preview area instantly displays the current loaded style. This enables you to have an updated view of the current style (can be either Dimension style or Text style). When you are editing the current style, this area updates automatically and helps you to control the modifications to the desired level.
