An Overview on Configuration Manager

The Configuration Manager is a managing tool that helps you to save and restore a program configuration.

The program allows you to perform the following tasks:

The configuration is a collection of the program parameters. The program parameters are stored in files or registration keys.

You can select the specific parameters from a list of available settings and specify the name of the new configuration. A saved configuration can be loaded from another machine, thereby avoiding the delay in re-configuring many machines with the same configuration.

Configuration Manager allows a centralized management of the application's configuration settings. If a application administrator creates a configuration, then other machines can upgrade during the program startup, automatically using the remote configuration behaviour.

Note
All of the Configuration Manager functionalities can be accessed from ToolsConfiguration Manager..., when no document is open.

It is important to save the configuration settings in the location different from the default one (normally this is a folder inside your local file system: User folder), as the Reset operation removes all the existing configuration files from the above mentioned default location.

Configuration Manager allows you to perform the following operations.
