The Import command enables you to insert the selected part as component in your think3 3D model or drawing.

You can find this command in the context menu of the query view dialog that opens when you run the Open command on a catalog of parts, if you started thinkparts from within the think3 application and you have a valid document open, either a 3D model or a 2D drawing. Instead of selecting the component and clicking Import in the context menu, you can double click on the part in the list.

Upon execution, the component will be created according to the specifications of the selected part and will be positioned in the open document. In other words, the mating constraints the part was assigned when it was built will be required when positioning the part as a component (if no positioning constraints were applied to the part when it was built, you can simply position it in the model and then apply to it the mating constraint that will take it to the proper position).
