Installation of ThinkDesign

To perform an installation, mount the ISO file you downloaded (simply right-click and select Open with Windows Explorer) and run the DPT_TD_Setup.exe.
In the wizard that will show up, you will be asked to select the installation language and, in addition to ThinkDesign application, you can also choose to install the product documentation.

After accepting the License Agreement, you will be first asked to enter your Account Number. You can find this code in the top-right corner of any page on the DPTCare website.

You can then specify where the installed files will be located. If you don't want to use the default installation path, specify a new one.

Finally, you can choose the Setup Type by selecting the main product and the optional converters and add-ons to install.

As Main Product, three options are available:

• TDPro
  Choose this to install TDPro or TDEducation.
• TDAdvanced
  Choose this to install TDAdvanced.
• All the others
  Choose this to install TDStyling or TDClassic or TDDrafting or TDViewerPlus.

In case you purchased the Converters license, you will be asked to select:

• TDXchange
  that can read or write other CAD application files with ThinkDesign using TDXchangeReader or TDXchangeWriter.

You can also choose among the following Add-ons:

• Coordinates Label
  provides a command to be used to insert labels displaying the coordinates of the selected points.
