The Reactivate command activates again one or more features that were previously deactivated by using the Deactivate command.
The command can be started from the menu bar and also from context menus, displayed when you right-click the selected feature(s) in the Graphics Area or in the Model Structure. In addition to solid features, the command can be applied to other entities such as datum entities.
The Mode drop-down list of the command's selection has two options as follows:
Selection: |
It enables you to activate the deactivated features or the datum entities of a solid.
To select the features/datum entities from the solid the Features/Datum Entities selector is provided.

Feature type: |
It enables you to reactivate all the features of the solid which has been deactivated. To select a solid you are provided with the Solid selector. On selecting the solid the different check boxes get displayed with respect to the different features created in the model. Keep All/Reject All enables/disables you to select all displayed check boxes. Following are the few check boxes that get displayed with respect to the feature present in the model.
Hole: |
It highlights the hole features present in the model that needs to be reactivated. |
Linear Slot: |
It highlights the slot features present in the model that needs to be reactivated. |
Edge Fillet: |
It highlights the edge fillets any present in the model that needs to be reactivated. |
Flange: |
It highlights the flange features present in the model that needs to be reactivated. |
Pattern: |
It highlights the pattern features present in the model that needs to be reactivated. |
Shell: |
It highlights the shell features present in the model that needs to be reactivated. |

The command is typically used on deactivated features, displayed in the Model Structure as shown in the following illustration:
and requires the Rebuild Model command to update the objects that are involved.
Feature activation status can be managed through Visual Bookmarks.
