File Save as Drawing Frame
The Save as Drawing Frame command enables you to save the current drawing as a Drawing Frame.
When you start the command, the following options are available in the selection list:
Name | Enter the name of the Drawing Frame. The program uses this information to build the actual Drawing Frame filename. |
Description | Enter the Drawing Frame description. This is the text that the program displays in the list of available Drawing Frames of the Drawing Frame and Title Block command. |
Size | Select from the drop-down list the size of the Drawing Frame. The program uses this information to build the actual Drawing Frame filename. |
Orientation | Select either the Landscape or the Portrait orientation. |
Title Block Origin | Select a point for insertion of the Title Block. The program inserts a point on the layer Layer1023 in the Title Block position that will be removed when you insert the Drawing Frame with the Drawing Frame and Title Block command. |
Part List Anchor Point | Specify the anchor points at respective corner positions (Top left, Top right, Bottom left, and Bottom right) on the Drawing Frame to insert the Part List. On redefining a Drawing Frame with a Part List placed on an anchor point (using the Drawing Frame and Title Block command), the Part List will retain its attachment to the anchor point with the new Drawing Frame too. |
When you click OK, the drawing is saved as user folder\files\drwFrames\< Size:>_< Orientation>_< Name portion:>.e2.
Note that you are enabled to set a different path with the Local/Remote of the Configuration Manager tool. This enables you share a standard configuration among your network clients.
