XML Editor User Interface: Dictonaries

The below shown dialog box represents the DictionariesSymbolic Text.

The various user interface items related to the Dictionaries are explained below:

Select Languages Enables you to choose the languages from the drop-down list. The languages chosen from the Select Languages drop-down lists are displayed in the first and second column headers of the table, as shown in the image below.



Table Each row displays the data related to the corresponding category under appropriate column header. Refer to "Customization of Standard Hole Parameters" document for further details.
For the Dictionaries, depending on the selection made in the Root structure, a different table will be displayed, as shown in the following images.

Root Structure

When the Root node is selected, the table is displayed as shown in the image below:



Context name Enlists the category names.
Number of items Summarizes the total number of items associated with individual category.
Section Displays System for the system default items and the User for the ones added or modified by the user. The User set items are highlighted in a color defined in the Options tab in the Configurations dialog box.


Category Selection

When the category is selected, the table is displayed as shown in the image below:



Localization for en / Localization for it Enlists the localized labels in the chosen languages from the Select Languages drop-down lists.
Name Enlists the corresponding names of the category items.
Value Enlists the corresponding values of the category items.
Icon Enlists the corresponding icons of the category items.

Category Item Selection

When an item in the category is selected, the table is displayed as shown in the image below:



Localized Label - System/User Displays the label name in corresponding languages.
Language Lists the languages supported for the localization.

It is possible to add, remove or edit the corresponding items using the context menu options. Right-clicking on a row displays a context menu with the following options depending on the type of item selected:

Add Enables you to add an item at the end of the list.
Edit Enables you to modify the selected item (System/User). If it is a user item it will be modified, while if it is a system item a new customized item will be created.
Remove Enables you to remove the selected user item. The option is available only on user created items.
Remove overriding Enables you to remove the selected user item and restore the system item. The option is available only on modified system items.


File name - System/User Displays the path information of the System/User files. This is displayed only for your convenience and hence cannot be modified.
