3D Input Devices

This software supports the advanced motion controllers by 3Dconnexion, a Logitech Company. The controllers deliver a unique and powerful two-handed work style to the application: users can pan, zoom and rotate with a controller in one hand while they simultaneously create, edit or annotate with a traditional mouse.

The software necessary to interface such devices is installed with the application, and the user is only required to configure the device type and other options in the 3D Input Devices category of the Options/Properties dialog box.

Please note:
  • The 3D Input Devices options are enabled only if the device is detected by the application. This means that the device driver must be correctly installed and running when you start the application.
  • The 3D Input Devices options are available only in the model environment; however, you are enabled to program the device buttons with 2D specific functions as well.
  • In the drawing environment, only the buttons with applicable functions are operational.
