When this option is checked and you are printing a 3D model, the resulting image is rendered with the current Display setting; when not checked, the 3D model is printed as Wireframe. The setting is ignored when printing 2D drawings.

When checked, moreover, this option enables the View Mode control in the Print Preview dialog.
