Modify MeshDecimate

The Decimate Mesh command enables you to reduce the number of facets in the mesh without any significant changes in the object shape.

• Choose the selection mode for the area to decimate by picking either Mesh or Mesh Zones from the Mode: drop-down list.
  
  
• Select the mesh zones or mesh to decimate.
  
  
  
• Change either Target percentage or Target number of facets. Note that a change in either of the previous elements will update the other one. Also note that using the percentage slider whilst the preview is active will update the mesh preview accordingly in real-time.
  
  
• Change additional settings under the Mesh control node:
  
  • By checking Preserve Boundaries check box, the operation will not affect the mesh (or mesh zones) boundaries.
