General warning on conversion of 3D think3 models to IGES

To know exactly to which IGES entities think3 entities are converted, see the conversion table.

In general, this is what happens:

  • think3 curves are converted to their IGES corresponding curves
  • think3 surfaces are converted to their IGES corresponding surfaces
  • think3 solids are converted to IGES Manifold Solid B-Rep Object (entity 186).
  • You can convert solids to their component surfaces by clearing the Save/Load solid entities check box in the General page IGES Options dialog box.
