ModifyDraftingLine/Arc

The Modify Line/Arc command enables you to modify a line or an arc interactively.

In the case of a line:

• If you click close to an endpoint you can move the endpoint to a new position, thus modifying both the length and the direction of the line. Alternatively, you can enter the new values in the Length and Angle mini-dialog boxes.

  

• if you click close to the midpoint you can move the midpoint to a new position on the line, thus modifying the length while keeping the direction unchanged. Alternatively, you can enter the new value in the Length mini-dialog box.

  

In the case of an arc:

• If you click close to an endpoint you can move the endpoint to a new position, thus modifying the extension of the arc. Alternatively, you can enter the new values in the Center angle and Start angle mini-dialog boxes.

  

• If you click close to the midpoint you can move the midpoint to a new position, thus modifying the radius. Alternatively, you can enter the new value in the Radius mini-dialog box.
