InsertDraftingChamfer

The Insert Chamfer command enables you to create a bevel or chamfer line connecting two lines. Two methods can be selected in the Option drop-down list:
Angle & distance
creates the chamfer based on the Angle formed between the chamfer line and the first line, and the
1st distance from the intersection of the two lines back along the first line to where the chamfer begins.
2 Distances
creates the chamfer based on two distances, the distances from the intersection of the two lines back along each line to where the chamfer line intersects each line.
If the lines don't intersect, the program extends the lines until they do intersect, and then trims them back and adds the connecting chamfer line.

From the Sequence drop-down list you can choose how you want the command to repeat.

To choose the quadrant where to create the chamfer, select the Quadrant check box. Once the lines have been selected, a dynamic preview of the chamfer is displayed. The quadrant changes as you move the cursor. Once you have selected the quadrant click or hit ENTER to create the chamfer.

The Trim/Extend option enables you to specify the trimming mode to be applied to the lines/curves that extend beyond the chamfer line: Both to trim them both, First to trim only the first, None to trim none of them.
