FileRecover
FileUndo Recover
The Recover command enables you to open the backup copies of the Model/Drawing files by browsing through a file selection box. This is useful in case of data corruption or if for any reason there is a need to go back to a previous version of theModel/Drawing file. The mechanism of the ThinkDesign creates a backup copy of Model/Drawing at each save made by you. The first save made by you will not create any backup file. To make the Recover command operational, you need to select the Enable check box under the AutoBackup area of the Backup/Recover category.
To avoid overwriting the backup file with the last version that could be already corrupted, a new backup copy is created for each save performed on a file. The backup files are created as per the settings made in the Backup/Recover category.
The Undo Recover command discards the recover operation and restores the situation as saved in the original file (if there is no data corruption). This Undo Recover command will not be available in the menu bar till you create the first backup copy of the Model/Drawing file.
Note: The Recover command will be active only when the application is in the idle mode (when there is not any Model/Drawing file currently open). Incase any Model/Drawing file is open in the current session; a warning dialog box will get display. |
