Moving a View

1 When you start the Move View command, you are prompted to select a view. Click to select the view.

Note: If you preselect a view, the program skips this step.

2 The program then prompts you to enter the view origin. The view you selected moves as you move the cursor. Click to reposition the view. You can then select another view to move.

Note
If you move a view from which you have derived other views, those derived views move as well, regardless of whether they are still aligned with the main view. If you move a derived view that is aligned to a main view, you can't move it out of alignment with the main view unless you first turn off its Align to main setting, which is controlled from the Drawing View category. When the Inherit breaks from main to derived view option is selected, the Align to main option is grayed out.
