The Delete Layer command enables you to delete a selected layer. To delete a layer, click the name of the layer to highlight it and click the Delete Layer button. You cannot delete any layer which has entities on it, you cannot, therefore, use this process to delete all of the entities on a particular layer. You cannot delete the current layer and layer 0, the default layer.
